Ninja snax
I know I've told you guys before, but my nephew is great. He's the only eighteen year old boy I've known that would just as soon hang out with his aunt and uncle than go to a party. He and his friends will come over to play games, or he'll just come over by himself and hang out with me and the kids.
The other day he happened to drop by with snacks for my boys from the Asian market on a day when Grayson was being a ninja all day. Talk about good timing! Grayson could not believe he got to eat actual Japanese "ninja" snacks.
Grant was just happy to have chocolate-filled-bear-shaped-cookies! And Kyle to horse around with all afternoon.

Oh, my gosh, jess!! Kyle is all grown up??? I remember when he was oh, so little, then when he went to pre-school!! How old are we???

No, Joy, you've got it all wrong. We aren't getting any older, only Kyle is. =P He started college this fall, can you believe that? And in October I'll be one year away from the big 3-0. We're too young to be that old.

Oh, my stars! College?? Where has the time gone? I'm only 3 months behind you. Today is Chris' 31st birthday. Now, HE'S OLD!! Hahaha! J/K. Part of life, I guess. Have a good one.

I'm just stewing in my 42 years on this earth, and feeling rather decrepit and collectible. Oh well.

Decrepit and collectible? Nah, you're just perfecting. ;)
