I've spent a good bit of time away from the ol' blogging world. I felt like JustJessie had become a monkey on my back, wasting my time and sapping creative energy. As it turns out, I was wrong! The more time I have spent away from this site, the less time I have spent behind my camera. I've spent less time recording the precious and funny things my boys do. I've spent less time being creative with them, because (sad as it may be) I enjoy doing those things, in part, because I enjoy sharing them here with you.
So, welcome new friends, and welcome back old ones! The address of my blog has changed slightly (it used to be justjessie.typepad.com/justjessie. Now it's justjessie.typepad.com/blog. Weirdness.) Apparently Typepad doesn't give back old blog addresses, or else I just don't know what I'm doing! (Probably the latter, but you don't have to say so!)
Please don't expect profound words of wisdom, heart-rending stories of self sacrifice, or top notch writing of any kind from this little site. Please do come here to experience real life mothering and homeschooling of two little men along with me. Come here to listen to the lessons I learn in being a helpful wife, and shake your head at the lessons I fail to learn.
